From July 20th to 23rd, visitors can immerse themselves in the world of Final Fantasy VII at the Square Enix booth (#3829), where they can play the game, take memorable photos with iconic characters and props, engage in cosplay gatherings, and win exclusive merchandise.
Hands-On Demo
Comic-Con attendees can get an exclusive sneak peek of Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis through a hands-on demo. This mobile RPG offers a chapter-structured gameplay experience that covers various elements of the Final Fantasy VII timeline. Players will not only relive the events of the original game but also delve into new story elements crafted by Kazushige Nojima, the renowned writer of Final Fantasy VII Remake. These new elements revolve around a young hero, Sephiroth, adding depth and excitement to the game.
Memorable Photos
Comic-Con visitors can capture memorable moments with their favorite characters from Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis. Two different backgrounds will be available for commemorative photos: one featuring the game’s key art, showcasing heroes Cloud Strife and Zack Fair, and the other set in the iconic city of Midgar. Attendees can also strike a pose with a life-sized standee of Cloud Strife and a meticulously recreated Buster Sword, an iconic weapon from the game.
Cosplay Gathering
Square Enix will host a Cosplay Gathering on Saturday, July 22nd at 4:00 pm PT, providing an opportunity for fans and cosplayers to come together and celebrate their shared love for Square Enix games. Attendees can join in various booth activities, share their passion for cosplay, and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
Giveaways
Each day of the event, attendees can enter a raffle to win exciting prizes. To participate, individuals must demonstrate that they have pre-registered for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis or have any of the following Square Enix games installed on their devices: Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent, Romancing SaGa Re; universe, Dragon Quest Tact, Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia, War of the Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, or Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.
Community Mural
As fans engage in the booth activities, they will contribute to the creation of a special Community Mural. Stickers will be removed from the mural to unveil the full picture, symbolizing the collective involvement of Square Enix fans. Moreover, even those unable to attend the event in person can still participate online. By completing special mobile missions remotely and interacting with the official Square Enix Mobile collective video on Facebook and Twitter, fans can unlock in-game rewards across various beloved Square Enix mobile titles.
